Institute term limits for the federal Legislature and the Senate

Created by L.G. on November 15, 2012

Congress should be subject to term limits just as our President is. In order to have a government which more nearly represents the American people and in order for the elected members of the government to be closer to the American people, we hereby petition the federal government to institute term limits on all members of Congress. The term limit shall be no more than two elected terms for any seat in Congress whether it be the Legislature or the Senate.
