Institute term limits for Members of Congress to no more than 8 yrs.

Created by B.M. on February 28, 2013

While many of us find ourselves without jobs to support ourselves and our families, or have to work menial jobs after retirement because we can't afford out health care costs and the cost of inflation, Congress remains untouched. Members of Congress reap rewards beyond their salaries as well as government healthcare that most of us are not allowed to have. We also see Congressional stalemates holding us hostage while families go hungry and people become homeless creating more of an underclass, while the wealthy continue to prosper at our expense.
If we cannot be guaranteed a job, than neither should Congress be allowed unlimited terms. It is time to limit the amount of time someone can be in Congress. It is time for change.
