We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Instituting a Mandatory Federal "voters reprieve time" on Election Day.

Created by T.D. on November 13, 2016

The right to vote is sacred and should be preserved. However, the process of thinking about who you will vote for disproportionately affects certain individuals. If enough time is provided on and in the days approaching election day, then several of these people can vote without the guilt of leaving work and not making money to fulfill their civic duty.

Which is why this petition asks for the United States Federal Government to declare election day a mandatory federal holiday. This will improve the voter turnout nationwide and will ensure the people's voice is heard clearly in future elections.
