Military personnel rarely receive orders in time to adhere to low pricing from airlines and booking agencies and therefore must pay higher fares to travel. In addition, many times their travel plans are changed by the military at the last minute causing additional charges to complete travel. Our military already sacrifices so much to protect us and should not have to pay exorbitant fares when traveling after completing training or returning from deployment. Deregulation of the travel business means airlines and booking agencies can set their own fares and rules, but when military personnel are traveling something should be done to reduce the burden and cost placed on these men and women sacrificing for our freedom.
