instruct all members of his administration to review the Bill of Rights, specifically, the freedom of speech and press.

Created by D.T. on May 20, 2013

President Obama's administration has taken several actions which could be interpreted as intimidating members of the press, including monitoring a Fox News reporter and obtaining Associated Press phone logs. As Thomas Jefferson said, "Our liberty depends on the freedom of the press, and that cannot be limited without being lost."

In addition, for the IRS to select certain political groups for extra scrutiny can easily be interpreted as hindering the right of free speech.

We ask that President Obama remind his administration that there are very, very few things more precious to the people of the United States than the Bill of Rights.
