To the White House:
Please instruct the CDC to add to its STD slides "Women should urinate within 30 minutes after sex in order to avoid a urinary tract infection." This is a glaring missed opportunity to educate the public.
Reasons for the additional STD slide:
Preventing urinary tract infections by urinating after sex is not a topic usually covered in Sex Ed.
Urinary tract infections can lead to dangerous kidney infections, that can lead to sepsis.
Urinary tract infections can lead to chronic problems such as vulvodynia, interstitial cystitis, and vaginismus.
