Comcast, by their purchase of NBC/Universal and their stated intention to purchase Time-Warner Cable, have built the largest illegal monopoly in American history. Actions like theirs are illegal under The Sherman Anti-Trust Act, which prohibits illegal monopolies, and which is regulated by Congress. This is why Congress took apart "Ma Bell" and Microsoft.
The unlawful Comcast monopoly now owns broadcast networks AND the means of delivery. They also control the PRICE we pay for cable, Internet, and phone service. In effect, they are raping the American consumer by eliminating competition and by price-fixing.
I have spoken with Congressional aides about this, and they have assured me that if enough people make noise, Congress MUST listen. Let's make some noise.
