Instruct the Department of Education to make the movie "Idiocracy" required viewing in public high schools.

Created by E.W. on January 27, 2016

Due to its significant cultural relevancy, the movie "Idiocracy" by Mike Judge should be included in all public school system curricula. The movie deals with health care, criminal justice, political systems, military, economics, infrastructure, food systems, censorship, individual rights, and the environment in a way highly accessible to viewers. As a modern satire it is unrivaled, and it may be compared historically to the work of Voltaire, among many others. The education of the general populace, especially with regard to civic structures and the role of the citizen, will be greatly improved by exposure to this work.
