This petition is created given the discoveries and grave concerns raised by The Guardian US's journalistic investigation and the lawsuits filed in the course of the investigation of the Homan Square facility. This journalistic investigation has revealed violations of arrestee’s Constitutional and Civil Rights occurring on a regular basis. Furthermore, it is requested that any investigation or review encompass the whole of the Chicago Police Department to determine if any official sanctioning or complicity is involved in denying arrestee’s Constitutional and Civil Rights.
