Instruct Dept. of Justice to reopen & PROSECUTE cases from Wall St. derivative swaps trading that led to 2008 meltdown.

I created this petition because I am disgusted at the total lack of ANY prosecutions from the housing market and financial meltdown in 2008. This was caused by Wall St. traders and bankers creating default swaps, which was basically making bets on if home loans would go under. Many lenders made risky and flat out bad loans knowing that if they went under it wouldn't matter because they had these swaps and insurance policies to cover if/when the loans went under. Tim Geithner, Treasury Secretary, is a former Goldman Sachs guy and they along with AIG, Bank Of America, Fannie Mae & Freddy Mac blew up our economy and have recovered because they've been let off the hook for the massive fraud I & others believe they perpetrated on U.S. consumers.
