Instruct the DOJ to more actively investigate, and punish offenders of Title II & III of the ADA

Created by D.T. on August 22, 2012

While there are laws to protecting people from discrimnation under the Americans with Disabilities act. The process of getting someone to look at such violations is tied up in miles of red-tape and trying to find anyone who can help with the compliant.

Once an investigation is started and when/if the offender is found in violation, the punishment under the ADA is very light or nonexistent.

The process for filing compliants needs to be simplified and the DOJ needs to be instructed, or given more employess to actively invesitgate and punish offenders of the ADA.
