It's been three years since the financial crisis damaged the American economy, and in many parts of the country, high joblessness among other symptoms of a bad economy are persistent. In despair, the general public and the "Occupy Demonstrators" wonder if justice can be served when there has not been a single prosecution of a high-ranking Wall Street executive or major financial firm even though fraud and misrepresentations played a significant role in the crisis. The CBS program, "60 Minutes," among other sources, indicated that wrongdoing by executives at Countrywide Financial and Citigroup, to name two, have high prosecutorial merit under the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
Therefore, instruct the Justice Department to aggressively prosecute wrongdoing by executives under the Sarbane Oxley Act.
