Stop Shell Oil from take by harassment of federally protected Marine Mammals, specifically Shell has requested an authorization to take seven marine mammal
species by Level B harassment. Specifically species include Beluga whale (Delphinapterus leucas); bowhead whale (Balaena mysticetus); gray whale (Eschrichtius robustus); bearded seal (Erignathus barbatus); ringed
seal (Phoca hispida); spotted seal (P. largha); and ribbon seal (Histriophoca fasciata).
By admission Shell Oil will potentially disturb a marine mammal or marine mammal stock in the wild
by causing disruption of behavioral patterns, including, but not limited to, migration, breathing, nursing, breeding, feeding, or sheltering [Level B harassment].
This is illegal & harms our oceans' ecosystem upon which America depends.
