Whereas,
West Kentucky Community & Technical College (WKCTC, formerly PCC) violated a student's civil rights by barring him from campus for suggesting competency testing for faculty members;
James Sweatt, the student, was legitimately enrolled in a Murray State University course on WKCTC's campus;
Paducah's city attorney (Grimes) and another attorney (Baird) told Mr. Sweatt to ignore the bar and attend his class;
City police were called when Sweatt next attended his class and the police (Jagoe and others) told Sweatt to go back to class, that he "was doing nothing wrong.";
Sweatt was arrested the next morning with no new claims;
We The People, respectfully ask that Secretary Duncan and The Department of Education fully investigate this gross injustice.
