Everyone is tired of long security lines at airports. Part of the problem is the extensive and confusing list of items that can and can't be brought aboard. If everyone is required to fly naked, then there would be no need for most body checks (harumm) and no radiation exposure from screening machines. This would result reduced waits going through security for two basic reasons. First, only carry-on items need to be checked by x-ray and other technologies. They could include a paper bag for one's clothes, since it can be chilly on the plane. Second, the lines would be smaller, since would be a significant subset of the population who would prefer not to see some people naked. Since this is a market-driven economy, airlines have the option of raising or lowering prices to match the demand.
