The 2nd Amendment was written by our founding fathers as a protection of not only against the tyrannical government, but as a means of self protection from invaders. It is a unquestionable right! Let us leave the 2nd Amendment alone and concentrate on the real issue, the cultivation of the violent American society we live in. With violence so central to our nation, it's time to look at the real issue, we have become a violent society due to the media (Film, Television, Music and Video Games) and violent sports such as boxing, martial arts and mixed martial arts. I request that there be a law banning all above set items.
