With respect to the now current vacancy of the Supreme Court: in the available 341 days left to President Obama, we petition that the Office of the President shall take every & all appropriate steps to collaboratively insure that the Appointment Clause of the U.S. Constitution (Article II, Section 2, clause 2) is completed in a timely manner.
We also petition the Senate to fulfill its duties of "advice and consent" in a timely & collaborative manner so that the common interests of all Americans may prevail over any and all partisan discord.
The longest delay for Senate ratification of a presidential nominee to the Supreme Court was 125 days (1916).
May the needs and interests of the all American People remain paramount above any & all partisan interests in this solemn responsibility.
