Integrate & Unify Americans by eliminating national references such as African, Chinese, and/or Mexican before American.

By using terms such as African, Chinese, and/or Mexican, amongst many others, we are essentially segregating Americans by separating ourselves based upon race, color, creed, and/or nationality. If our country is ever to truly unify we must begin to recognize our citizens as one, as Americans. Heritage and ancestry is important, but our national unity under present day issues is more concerning. The United States acts as a separatist by using these terms yet our country was founded upon the basis of unity, no matter the color or creed. Maybe if we treated everyone in the USA as Americans, we could finally unify and move this country forward. By eliminating these terms before American, we will finally end the separatist views of bigamy.
