Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, 27, whose Christian husband Daniel Wani holds American citizenship, has been held in a Sudanese prison along with her 20-month old son for more than three months. She is sentenced to death for her faith by the Sudanese government. Our government needs to stand up for her human rights for religious freedom and offer her asylum, if necessary, for her safety.
