In the interest of balancing the Federal Budget, this petition asks for consideration of taxation of Churches (etc).

In the interest of balancing the Federal Budget of the United States, it is imperitive that the taxation of religious institutions and their employees be considered. With an estimated 350,000 religious congregations in the country, composed of over 200 denomonational groups, the possible income that could be generated for the federal government by taxing Churches, Mosques, etc, is uncalculated. We urge the Federal Government to do a statistical analysis of this possible income source and make use of it in a way that best suits all of the United States, including those inside and outside of these denomonations and congregations.
