In the interest of optimal patient care, APRNs be required to practice only with Physician oversight.

To provide the best patient care, it is imperative to maintain that APRNs practice health care and make health care related decisions with the oversight of a physician. APRNs are well trained and knowledgeable; however, this level of training does not compare to the scope and application of a physician's knowledge. Patient care is best served in a team model, with the APRNs contributing to patient outcomes with the guidance of a physician.
