In the interest of securing government by and for the people limit the duration any Federal elected service.

Created by D.T. on January 07, 2013

In order to defend the people from the corruption of political office through the temptation of conceding to financial gain, limit the service allowed by any individual to three terms of service in any Federal level elected position in a life time. This will compel those competing for government office to give more heed to their constituents and protect the people from falling victim to a body of reelected officials that have been purchased and have lost touch with the practical life of the common citizens. For those who currently exceed this limit let them be permitted to complete their current service and pass the mantle.
