Interlock Device DUI

States have been moving to have interlock devices installed in cars. These devices are not a plug and play. This means that they half to modify my car. No one has the right to cut my wiring harness of my car and install a device that was not made for it. I am not saying DUI's should not be punished but I have gone 3 years without a licence and paid
$5000 in fines but still can not get a licence. That is really not fair. Interlock does not prevent anything and installing one for a year is no different then not driving for a year. This all comes down to money and that is not what this about. I feel that interlocks need to be removed from the system and if people went the appropriate time without driving and did all of there classes that they should just be able to get there liscence
