People are getting really tired of fighting different institutions in different states over and over again. Seaworld, Georgia Aquarium, Miami Seaquarium, Shedd, American orca at Loro Parque, all have petitions against them FOR IMPORTING OR EXPLOITING MARINE MAMMALS. Please sign the petition to urge the President to collectively stop this and make the facilities rehabilitate and release where possible ALL their marine mammals, judged by independent boards of scientists. The whole point of a breeding programme is to restock the wild population and to date no captive bred cetaceans have been returned to the wild. The state individual laws mean going over and over the same thing, i you could make one sweeping American law on this matter it would save the animals any more suffering.
