By deploying troops to actively combat ISIS we can end the war in Syria and Iraq and restabilize the region. Of course, after ISIS you'll have to target al-Nusra and the regime, but hopefully once ISIS is destroyed a settlement can be reached, preferably on that sees an independent Kurdistan and democratic reforms in the Syrian government.
