The North Carolina General Assembly enacts harsh legislation against the poor, disabled, the unemployed, and women of this state. These bills are introduced weekly and passed with a Republican majority in both houses. Peaceful protesters are arrested every Monday at the Moral Mondays events who feel the moral obligation to resist these Draconian laws. We invite federal recognition of these atrocities and intervention in this legislation.
