Intervene to prevent the execution of Lennox, a pet/service dog arbitrarily taken by Belfast City Council (NI, UK)

Created by A.C. on July 08, 2012

Lennox is 5 year old American Bull/Labrador Retriever cross seized by the Belfast (N Ireland) City Council who, without any due process or proper professional guidance, declared Lennox to be a dangerous dog, based solely on appearance. Lennox has never attacked anyone or anything yet the council have removed him from his home where he lives with his family, including a disabled daughter for whom Lennox is a service dog. Belfast has held Lennox for almost 2 years in squalor and will kill him soon without intervention. International canine behavior experts say unanimously that Lennox is no danger whatsoever. His health is deteriorating in his incarceration. Belfast is ignoring many offers to rehome Lennox in Ireland or the US, preferring to kill the dog. Please help bring Lennox to safety!
