This petition is an attempt to get the U.S. government to intervene in Sony pictures decision not to release the movie "The Interview" because of hacks and threats made by hackers in what now appears to be a successful attempt to suppress this movie. And if and when the decision is made to release this film that the government should meet with any cinema chain refusing to distribute this movie because of threats made by the same hackers. The U.S., it's people and it's businesses have never bowed to terrorists and their threats and they should not be doing so now. Knuckling under to terrorists and hackers only shows that these methods will work in the future and only encourages these type of people to continue their criminal activities!!!
