Russian president Vladimir Putin authorized his troops to invade Ukraine on Saturday March 1st, 2014. This was a clear violation of the Budapest Memorandum signed in 1994 that the United States (and a collection of other countries such as Great Britain) would protect Ukrainian borders if they gave up their nuclear stockpile. We as Americans need to back up our word.
