Mass incarceration in the USA is extreme, destructive, and counterproductive. We ask that in his last year of office, President Obama make dramatic changes to bring our country's practices in line with the superior practices of more humane countries around the world. It is good for taxpayers, good for communities, good for families, and good for the economy. We want to end the uneducated, fear-based motivations behind criminal justice policy in our country.
