Introduce an amendment of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include: "Sexual Orientation".

Created by J.C. on March 27, 2015

I am asking the White House to introduce an amendment to congress of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, to include "Sexual Orientation" along side, Race, Color, Religion and National Origin.

If passed this will federally give all LGBT American Citizens the ease that they will not be discriminated against in all of the United States of America.

Currently as of March 27, 2015 there are 21 states that limit in some way or another LGBT rights.

We can not live in a country where we sit at a restaurant and get thrown out, or we work and get fired from a homophobic boss and for it to be legal.

As we see the US on the brink of legalizing same sex marriage, states are introducing more and more religious freedom bills that harm the LGBT community. This needs to a federal law NOT to discriminate.
