Introduce an Amendment to the Constitution that would allow citizens to vote to replace every elected federal official.

Created by J.W. on July 26, 2013

It's no secret that we have a government that MANY citizens would like to replace completely. This current government is, at best, incompetent, and, at worst, corrupt. We need an avenue to fix our government and replace our elected officials as a whole.

Historically, when a government becomes so corrupt or inept as to necessitate its replacement the People are generally forced into some sort of violent revolt. No one wants that. What we DO want is a new, less incompetent government so why not let democracy ring and allow us to vote on it?

Let's amend our Constitution to allow us, the People, to vote in a whole new government. Once the vote passes (percentage needed TBD) elected officials are to be replaced within a year and may not be elected into a federal position again for 5 years.
