Just as George Washington recognized the potential for corruption and sought a term limit on the Office of the President, I believe the same should be done for all elected government offices. Being elected to a government position is a privilege and a service to the country, not a "cushy" job to be used for one's own gain. To prevent future abuses and to stop current abuses, I petition the Obama administration to introduce an amendment to institute a two-term term limit on all elected government positions.
