It is unfair that until the age of 35, Americans are second class citizens; unable to run for the highest office, but able to vote. Let the people decide if someone has enough experience to lead, not the 240-year old restrictions written in a time without public schools. in 2016, almost all of the Democratic contenders for the presidential office are over 60 years old, far from the median US age of 37. Barriers to entry like this in political offices small and large keep people from being able to run for president. Also, our younger population is more diverse, allowing us to move forward as a nation. Make sure that you don't need graying hair to be elected to any office, and safeguard American democracy.
