Introduce and push for legislation creating a non partisan commission to set electoral districts and end gerrymandering.

Created by B.R. on February 28, 2013

Our government can not seem to come to a agreement on even small issues. This is the result of years of gerrymandering by both parties. As a result, middle of the road bipartisan coalition building candidates are trounced in primary elections nationwide. Let's end the practice of gerrymandering and create a non partisan commission to set the electoral districts. We can look to our own heartland for a good example. Iowa has a separate commission to set these election boundaries and does not allow outside factors to skew the process. This should go a long way to changing the discourse in DC. Most people in this country identify as moderates and they need their voices back.
