We the people ask President Obama to push for reforms in the area of Congressional public service. Introduce language that allows no paid holiday breaks etc. until congress meets the basic requirements of their constitutional duties such as compromising and agreeing to the yearly budget.
Too long have our law makers been above and beyond the law, exempting themselves from the recent healthcare, providing lifetime benefits for themselves, and in general creating a social/economic class that once joined, instantly sets them apart from other Americans.
We ask that before you leave office, to bring the idea of "service" back to the concept of being an American Congressional representative vs being a means to virtually endless lifetime entitlement and kick backs.
