Introduce an automatic registration for potential voters once they reach the age of consent as a legal U.S citizen.

Created by H.L. on October 29, 2015

One issue to be addressed in the United States is the low voter turnout that we face when it comes to elections. In general, the younger demographics tend to attribute to the lower numbers of not only registered voters, but also those who are registered and then further their efforts by casting a vote. In order to combat this problem, you have to start form the source by making it easier to register in the first place. U.S. citizens, upon reaching the age of consent, should automatically be added and registered to the active voting population by default. By doing this, you should expect to see a large increase in registered voters. However, whether or not they choose to take this to the next step and physically cast a vote is a totally different problem altogether for another day.
