Our founding fathers never intended for our public servants that were elected to represent the people, be in a situation where they get paid nearly four times the amount of the average citizen that they represent, nor have their families health insurance paid for by the citizens.
They never intended for our elected public servants to have perks that persuade them to make decisions based more on their party, and not for their constituents.
They never intended our elected officials could make a career out of government and become rich off of their votes and decisions, as well as outside lobbyists that coerce their decision making.
The people of America demand the power be handed back to them! And setting term limits is the absolute start for the dire situation this country faces.
