introduce a bill into Congress overturned the UIGEA act, thus legalizing and taxing online poker

Created by J.S. on January 21, 2013

Realize that poker is a uniquely American game, and that it is a black mark for the world's largest democracy to outlaw a recreational pursuit for millions. Poker has been played throughout our history and is interwoven into our fabric. Prohibition also is, and has shown that it does not work. Introduce legislation into Congress to legalize playing poker online; tax and regulation adding potential millions to the economy and safeguards for players. There is no reason for a prohibition to poker playing - Americans should not be able to thrust their morals onto the rest of us.
