Introduce a bill to Congress reducing the membership of the House of Representatives.

Created by G.G. on February 27, 2013

At 435 members, the House of Representatives is a significant drain on federal resources, involving not only the salary of its members, but the various allowances for their personnel, office expenses, and other perks.

By reducing their number, the costs associated with the members of the House would be reduced, as well as potentially increasing the throughput of legislation.
