Introduce a bill instituting term limits for Congress.

Term limits were put in place to restrict the amount of "power" one person can attain by continually serving as a public servant. Currently, our system limits the office of President to two, four-year terms. However, the members of Congress (Senate and House of Representatives) are one-third of the "checks-and-balances" system, and have no limits in the number of terms they may serve. It is not in the favor of the American people to allow members of Congress to continue to hold office without limits to the duration of their serving. As our current Congress is evidence of, representatives with no firm timeframe of accomplishing goals, will perpetually delay legislature to benefit their reelection efforts. We request legislature to institute term limits for members of Congress.
