introduce a bill that limits it and all future bills to one subject per bill.

Created by M.W. on November 13, 2012

I feel that each bill presented to Congress should be limited to one subject. With multiple subjects contained in bills, it is easy to get distracted, confused, or mislead. Multiple subjects also makes it easy for opposing Congressmen to use leverage to get things they want passed if they agree to concede to something else in the bill.
I feel that one subject per Bill will move voting along more quickly and disallow Congressmen to say they had to vote for a bill to get something else. Therefore Congressmen will have to acknowledge their voting record for what it is.
