It is crucial for citizens to discuss political thoughts and be able to join together in political action to determine the best national policies or candidates for federal office. However the concern of the average citizen has been muted by the deafening roar of Political Action Committees and 501(c) associations due to their undemocratic and divisive nature. The groups are designed to gather large sums of money with which to support a given cause or candidate, however they are not truly accountable other than to future contributors to exactly how they use their funds. Money is paper, ink, and picayune chunks of metal that has only the value that we assign it and others accept. Money doesn't have needs or concerns. People do, and must be the deciders of elections. Power to the people!
