Introduce a bill requiring firearm manufacturers to include bio-metric/smart gun technology as a required component.

The basis of this petition is to resolve an issue which has been over looked by both sides of the gun control battle. We have lost sight of how we can use technology & encourage private sector to curb gun violence. This petition requests the administration to introduce legislation which will require manufactures to include bio-metric/smart gun technology in firearms. Such legislation will force gun manufactures to introduce tech which will add new safety parameters & ensure proper ownership of arms. It will reduce and maybe even eliminate the number of accidental shootings by kids to themselves or others, gang/criminal violence, and prevent mentally distributed acts of violence by impacting how the sale and operation of guns happen while preserving the 2nd amendment. - reasonedthinking.com
