U.S. Senators and Representatives often vote for benefits, pay increases, reitrement plans, or exemptions from law for themselves while simultaneously working to enforce those laws or deny similar benefits to the citizens who pay their salaries. Congressmen, Senators, their staffers and family members ought not be above the law. Also, they ought to have stricter ethics rules, for they are supposed to represent the best of America and its citizens.
