Introduce a fat tax, adding a a higher price to items with higher saturated fat and sugars than a set average.

This petition is for the purpose of both helping our people and our nation. The goal is to incur a fat tax, similar to the one Denmark applied in 2011. I believe that if the problem of obesity is addressed in this manner, we can both lower American obesity levels, and reduce our nation's deficit; two of our major problems, in a "two birds with one stone" manner. The fat tax will incur an extra tax upon items with a level of saturated fats or sugar above a certain level.
