Introduce law to create term limits for Congress.

We ask that new legislation be introduced to create term limits for Congress. Term limits will Increase competition while encouraging new challengers. They will help move our current congressional makeup from career politicians to a citizen government. Term limits will help break the long standing grip held by special interest groups. With no need for long term career protection, congress will be more likely to vote on principle. Term limits will also, introduce fresh thinking, reduce the power of staff and bureaucracy, limit the power of lobbies, create a reduction in wasteful spending, encourage lower taxes, result in smaller government, and encourage greater voter participation.
