The Government of the United States needs to become more efficient and continue being relevant in a competitive world. The US Government should have a great percentage of new and fresh minds coming to serve the People on a regular basis. Pass a law that limits the tenure of US House Representatives and Senators to Twelve years.
Currently, 27 (27%) out of 100 US Senators and 122 (28%) out of 432 Representatives have served for more than 14 years.
House Representatives and Senators stay in power for too long. They grow comfortable and old in their positions. This makes harder for them to change and to lead the way for necessary regulations and reforms.
