Introduce a law preventing anyone who voted to invade Iraq from running for presidential office.

Created by B.C. on April 24, 2015

Quite frankly, the invasion of Iraq in 2003 will blemish the pages of America's history for the rest of its existence. The war was unjust and frankly a crime against humanity. Thousands upon thousands died senseless deaths and those affected reach millions.

Allowing anyone who voted in favor of this invasion to run for federal office is inexcusable. Look at American reconstruction and how those who served in confederate office were treated for putting their pervasive interest above the general interest of our republic and the fairness that man is granted through the dignity each deserves.

Please sign this petition so that President Obama can introduce a bill that would bar any of these terrible people from serving in a federal capacity. Their leadership should not guide our future.
