We ask that legislation be introduced in congress to change the definition of an assault weapon
FROM
any gun that is - semi automatic, meaning one round is fired per each pull of the trigger
- uses a detachable magazine
And featured any two of the following attributes:
- a folding or telescopic stock
- a pistol grip
- a bayonet mount
- a flash suppressor
- a grenade launcher
TO
any gun that is - fully automatic, meaning several rounds are fired per each pull of the trigger
- uses a detachable magazine
And featured any two of the following attributes:
- a folding or telescopic stock
- a pistol grip
- a bayonet mount
- a flash suppressor
- a grenade launcher
There should no longer be an association between a gun that looks like a military weapon and a full auto military weapon
